the concept is to give away the solo piece to a group of local participants, who are participating the workshop. first of all, the solo performance is shown to the public at the theatre. the participants come to see the performance and from there on starts a process to rebuild the material of the piece into a new group piece. the visual concept, the light- and the sound design can be recycled and used, if the group wishes. my own bodies – all stars ---“ will premiere in the same venue.

during the process, the participants will observe, criticize, test, copy, demolish, reconstruct and finally appropriate the piece and make it their own. with playfulness and humor the choreographer will be supporting the transformation process.

tove sahlin is an experienced workshop leader and will guide the group through this inspiring, creative and demanding workshop. the participants can be non-professionals and the theater should have an interest to deepen and lengthen the relation to the participants after this short project comes to an end.

this project is aiming to open up the theatre houses to other audiences than the ones already visiting or to treat the visitors with a creative project. it is joyful, daring and caring!

tove sahlin is a stockholm based, internationally working performance maker and doer.

she graduated 2001 from the theatre university of mime and acting and has since then walked backwards and sideways in the fields of the performing arts, both as a performer, chorographer, director, teacher and organizer.

the duet roses & beans, by and with dag andersson and sahlin, has been touring extensively since the premiere 2010. before that tove had co–created 11 pieces with in her 10 years with the collective bastardproduktion (2002-2012). Together with dag they now form the double hearted artistic director duo of their new company shake it collaborations (2012).

as a performer she has worked repeatedly with the choreographers malin hellkvist sellén and gunilla heilborn, among others. sahlin is regularly commissioned to choreograph theatre pieces, including, a musical about ingvar kamprad (founder of IKEA) at örebro länsteater; utopia – at backateatern in gothenburg; and a queer version of hamlet at hålogaland theatret in tromsö. her teaching mostly emphasizes methods for collective idea production and games around artistic articulation. she regularly teaches in swedish theater institutions such as ung scen öst and region teater väst, as well as festivals like ponderosa tanzland in stolzenhagen, outside of berlin. in march 2013 she premiered the solo piece my own bodies at the house of dance in stockholm. the solo worked with shaking as movement, emotions and linguistic metaphor.

minu enda kehad võib olla ka laiendatud osalusprojekt koostöös mõne teatri või organisatsiooniga.

ideeks on anda soolotöö üle kohalike workshopis osalejate grupile. kõigepealt näidatakse sooloetendust avalikult teatris. osalejad tulevad etendust vaatama ning sellest algabki protsess, mille käigus ehitatakse teose materjal ümber uueks – grupi teoseks. visuaalset kontseptsiooni – valgust ja helikujundust - võib taaskasutada, kui grupp seda soovib. minu enda kehad – all stars - esietendub samas ruumis.

protsessi käigus osalejad jälgivad, kritiseerivad, katsetavad, kopeerivad, lammutavad, rekonstrueerivad ning viimaks teevad töö endale omaseks. koreograaf toetab seda transformatsiooni omalt poolt mängulisuse ja huumoriga.

tove sahlin on kogenud workshopi läbiviija ning juhatab gruppi läbi selle inspireeriva, loova ja nõudliku töötoa. osalejateks võivad olla ka algajad.

selle projekti eesmärgiks on teatrimajade avamine laiemale publikuringile või külastajate kostitamine loovprojektiga. see on rõõmus, julge ja hooliv!
